The media could not be loaded. Assembly was the high point with this item as it comes almost fully assembled right out of the box. My notes would be the front piece of plexiglass (at least on ours) should be just a hair wider. Its made so it can be raised up and down to help squirrels get the nuts, but its just narrow enough that it can be popped right out without much force at all. The back up / replacement piece they kindly include with it also is cut to the same dimensions and has the same issue. In the end, rather than have the squirrels pop it out and raid "The Nut Bar" in one sitting we put a bead of glue along the edge. If we need to remove it later, we can, but (at least we hope) they can't. Its extremely cute. I wish the lettering on ours was burned a little darker into the wood, its very difficult to read. we might hit it with paint or stain and see if we can make it pop a bit more down the road. Its well worth the price point, and I do appreciate how much assembly is already done, just need a few tweaks to get it just right.

I practically died when I saw how cute this was in person! It is the most adorable little Nut Bar! It comes basically fully assembled, except for the sign at the top which you have to screw on using a Phillips head screwdriver. It also comes with a few extra glass window panes, in case yours break during use/wear and tear.
Very easy to refill and clean. Squirrels and birds love it. They empty out this whole case of nuts within a day! I find myself having to refill it daily.
I did take off 1 star because during the rainy weather we've been having, the water did warp the base of the feeder. We've been keeping this feeder on top of a table in our backyard, but perhaps this water damage could have been avoided if it was hung up on a tree trunk instead. However, keep in mind that it is wood and may face some damage if exposed to water for a long period of time (we had a week of unrelenting rain here).

we have a family of squirrels living in our tree. I love this feeder as it let's mote than one eat. I also like that they include another piece of pexi glass so helpful since my last one they broke it because a squirrel got inside it. I didn't use the hangers it came with as they would not support the weight I replaced them.

This wood and glass squirrel feeder is a fun piece for feeding the squirrels that show up in everyone's back yard. The piece comes fully assembled with the exception of "The Nut Bar" piece that goes at the top of the feeder. In my photos, I had not, yet, attached that. The three pieces of glass were protected in shipment, but an additional one is provided just in case.

The glass windows slide into grooves in the wood and stay in place. The reservoir, itself, is large enough to hold the squirrels' food for a few days, depending on how large and hungry a population you are feeding.

This is a practical feeder as well as being a cute place to watch the bushy-tailed critters dropping by for snacks.

The wood is thick enough that it can be expected to hold up when out in the weather. If you are like me, though, you want it close enough to watch the daily goings on,. So that I can do that I have mounted it under the eave just outside our living room windows. It comes with hardware included for mounting.
