I'll start with the bottom line up front, the watch is well worth the price.

Now I'll get into what I would consider not so much bad things, but more unexpected, then on to the good, which are far more. First, the face of the watch is big. Not so big as to be comical or anything, but I got this to replace my Gshock so that is what I'm comparing it to, and the face is a bit bigger. It still seems to fit well on my arm and is not so large as to be noticeable while I wear it. Next, there appears to be a compass or something on the face, but I'm not sure it's actually functional. The instructions for the watch did not address that at all. One small thing that I noticed was that there three very small blemishes on the watch face. It almost seems like some air bubbles between the watch face glass and the plastic protective cover. They are hardly noticeable, and don't interfere with the display at all, but I can see them if I look really close.

Now for the positive. The buttons feel much more responsive than the Gshock buttons. There is a nice feeling when they are pushed, not so much a click, but definite positive feedback so you know the button was pressed. The layout of the face is easy to read and setting the watch is really easy. The Construction feels solid, but only time will tell for that. The size selector slots for the wrist size adjustment are small gaps, so overall, I think it has a better fit than the Gshock.

Finally, just a bonus that I didn't notice on the website when I ordered the watch, but the backlight has three different color settings. There is a blue, green and red. I thought that was really neat that the company would add several options for the backlash, and it's really easy to change the color on the fly.

Overall, having only had the watch a few days, I would highly recommend it to anyone. Especially if you're coming from a Gshock background, this watch, for the money, just seems to be a better value.

They say it's a 3 year battery which it's not... So far it's been going for 8 years and hasn't stopped. It's been years since I've actually worn it but I'll tell ya what, if you want longevity then get this one.

For a longest time when I was doing home repairs in the house or in the garage. I would wear whatever watch I had on me at the time. But as time went on I realized I was merely ruining them with grit, grim and whatever else got on to them.

So I found this "GO TO" watch that is perfect for that kind of stuff. I have painted with it on, worked in the yard, jumped in the pool with it on. Got it soaked in whatever and whatever else you can think of. When I am done, I simply put it under the sink and wipe off whatever mess might be on there and if there are specs of paint, they just come off with a simple soft scrub brush and ready for duty the next day. I have a large hand and this is not tiny watch either. Also the watch is packed with features. Sadly my first watch, the handle cracked and broke off in the middle but for the price point it is at, it is perfect for this kind of stuff. I did salvage the watch by using the new SHORTER strap and strapping it onto my my bike handle and now I don't have to wear a watch when I go for a ride.

TIP - When you get your watch there will be a thin piece of plastic mounted on the face of the watch from the factory to keep it from being scratched during shipment. It is so precise and clear you would not even know it is there. Just use your nail and lift it loose from one end and it comes right off. The image I posted looks smudged because I discovered the plastic was still on there AFTER I TOOK the picture. Looks way better now without the plastic.

Magnificent quality...and they perfectly fit my large lid Toto toilets. Please also make them in forest green, wine red and rose colors. Best designed and manufactured toilet covers I've ever seen. 7 Stars all the way.
