This fun makeup case says it is intended for beginning makeup users, and I agree. It has a lot of different colors of eyeshadow to try, four blushes, and two highlighters. It also comes with two brushes, one large and one smaller for eye shadow. It has a small mirror and three shades of lip gloss. I like the metal trunk that the whole set comes in, but I think it could be more compact. It has a lot of extra space underneath the makeup tray. For a travel set to take up less space, they could make the whole case about an inch smaller instead of leaving unused room. The makeup is all provided in small, sample-size amounts. With so many different colors to try, this would be a wonderful set for a 11-14 year old girl who is learning to use makeup.

Originally purchased this just for the box. But was decently surprised by the quality of the cosmetics that came with it. The box itself seems to be durable and light. It's larger than expected once I tried loading it with stuff.

It's a little gift for my daughter, she loves it so much, doing makeup for all her toys. The color is very vibrant, and the box is multifunctional.

This set is a really cute introductory set for girls I would say in the preteen age. I wouldn't say these are quality make up; however, it definitely is good practice and good "play" make up! There is a little bit of everything from brushes, to a mirror, blush, eyeshadow and even the little carrying case. The case itself feels light and not super durable but I definitely feel like this is a good one for playing with and practicing with before getting better more expensive sets! Definitely a good gift for girlie girls!

I actually got this set for my daughter who is just starting to get interested in real makeup. Makeup geared towards kids is fun but it doesn't normally come with much. She isn't ready for a full face of makeup yet but wanted to play around with some real lip products, eye shadows, etc. I saw this kit and thought it would be perfect for her to experiment with.

I don't think this set would be suitable for experienced makeup users. Most of the products aren't bad by any means but they aren't quite on par with many mainstream brands.

In this set, you get a nice assortment of eye shadow, lip glosses, blush, highlighter, bronzer and brushes, all packed neatly into a sturdy pink train case.

You only get two brushes in the kit but they serve their purpose. The bristles aren't super full but they are suitable for beginners.

The eyeshadow palette was my daughter's favorite! There are a lot of natural, warm colors to choose from. Nothing neon or crazy colored. We have been having a great time experimenting with different colors and designs. Nothing is too highly pigmented and leaves more of a natural finish. (we got to try the silver case set, as well, and that one has some additional cool shades (blues) in it which was really nice!)

She loved the lip glosses, as well. They are more pigmented than the lip glosses that typically come in children's sets.

My daughter is too young for bronzer and highlighter so I tried those. They are okay for practice or beginners but wouldn't be my preferred choice. I typically use a powder blush but the cream blushes in this set were actually pretty nice. They added a nice little bit of color to my normally pale cheeks, LOL.

The case itself is great quality. It feels high quality and latches securely. There is even some additional space inside to add in some of your own makeup items.
