This mini chainsaw cuts up to about 4" parameter!!!!! Incredible. Makes work SO easy! I'm 72 years old, so you can imagine how useful this is to me because I can't use a big chainsaw. It's light, cuts right through, has an extra chain, and all the tools to change the chain.

This mini chainsaw comes in very handy when cutting up the smaller branches that blow off trees into the yard. It is great for cutting up small branches down to a length that will fit into a wheel barrow without having to use a bigger noisy gasoline powered chainsaw. It will chew through 2 or 3 inch thick branches with ease and seems safer than a regular chainsaw in that the chain immediately stops moving the second you let off the finger switch. It also comes in a handy plastic carrying case that doesnt take up much room if you want to carry it in your trunk. The only thing I didnt like was that after leaving the battery charging over night the charge didnt last as long as I would have liked it to.

This item is fantastic! I wanted to get rid of a few of those low branches that were just a little too thick for clippers. (anything over an inch.) This item took down all of those branches, some as thick as three inches. I'm a woman who is not always comfortable with power tools, and I found this easy to handle. After I cut down the low branches, I decided to attack a Rose of Sharon bush that was growing where I didn't want it to grow. With clippers, it would have taken me an hour. With this item, it cut all of the stalks in a matter of minutes. When cutting anything smaller than an inch, it doesn't make a clean, straight cut, but then I wouldn't expect it to do that. It's a chain saw, not a hedge trimmer. But it absolutely did the job I needed it to do. I would recommend this product to anyone with a job not quite big enough for a chain saw, but too big for clippers. It's definitely easy to use. I do think it's a bit expensive, it should probably be close to $50 rather than $80.

Trimming small branches with ease

We've tried several of these now over the past year just due to needing chainsaws for different branches and trees we need removed, and I'd say this is exactly with the rest of the ones we've tried as a great product.

First off, I love that this includes a carrying case, I always have to leave my tools lying around on our toolbox in the garage and I love being able to store it all in one case.

Also, I love that this includes two batteries. I think the batteries don't last too incredibly long, so it's really great to have both batteries for longer projects or when you're doing a lot of work with this. We've definitely gone through a battery and a half before across 2 hours of trimming things up.

Finally, all the other included accessories are great to include and we're happy to have them, even just having gloves is a great inclusion, but also including safety glasses to keep wood chunks out of your eyes and an extra chain for later if you break a chain is just great. We haven't had to use the second chain yet, but it's nice to have that included with this for the price.

Overall I give this a 10/10, absolutely recommend. We couldn't be happier with this and plan on using this for the next several years at least for outdoor projects and anything wood-cutting related that we need it for.
