For a walkman the sound quality is great. The clip isn't decent though it falls off very easily. I just stuff it into my fannypack to avoid dropping it.
I also recommend getting different headphones than the ones it comes with.

The color was wrong. It said teal on the box but it was in fact black. It works fine for the price.

Played some very old cassette tape recordings of family member voices. Sound was clear and volume was good. One of the tapes was a little chewed up, but it played perfectly clear. Controls were easy to use. Comes with a short (12") c-USB power cord. You need a USB plug adapter to plug into wall power. Also worked off of a laptop USB power jack. Looked at thrift shops, e-bay, craigslist, and yard sales for a cheap used one. Cheapest was $10 and it looked like Edison had used it. This is a reasonable price for what I needed and problem solved.

i'm not a tapehead. i didn't grow up with walkmans. i'm just a gen z kid with false nostalgia. so take my biased review with that in mind.
i bought this player several months ago. it has been the best purchase of my year so far. i didn't expect that i would be reaching for it as often as i do. i used to only listen to it with the speaker it comes with and i loved it, but then i tried it with good over the ear headphones, and hooooooly moly. i get it now. i understand why cassette culture is a thing and i'm happy to say that i'm now a casual enthusiast of the wonderful world of tapes.
i've never played my cassettes on any other decks so i have no idea how the sound fidelity of this product fares against others, but i honestly don't care. i am so in love with the gentle hiss between tracks that i wouldn't want a player with higher quality sound anyways! i bought this player because i had gotten a cassette tape as a stretch goal reward from a kickstarter project i backed some time ago, and i wanted to hear it.
if you think music is best enjoyed in a digital format, i implore you to reconsider. i am now a fan of analog thanks to this adorable bright pink player :)

Great product, great sound quality there is a bit of static in the background otherwise great quality. radio function works well, and it is easy to use. i have not use the recording function yet so take that with some digression as i cannot say how well it works for recording. overall one of my favorites that i bought from amazon.
