My daughter loves this little scooter. We purchased it, put it together, and she's playing with it quite often. The light up tires are such a cute feature when she's scooting by.
Putting it together was relatively simple and easy to do. The instructions were also easy to follow. The design is simple and effective.
It would be nice to have the wheels turn when you turn the steering bar, versus leaning, especially when younger kids, who have not mastered their balance, are riding it.
It would also be nice if the seat was removable without taking off other components of the scooter. Maybe applying the same system that holds the handlebars on to the frame with the seat would be helpful.
Overall, we love this scooter and will get our use out of it!

The GoTrax scooter is my favorite option for the toddler age group. Other scooters my son has had were flimsy or had very bulky wheels that prevented him from pushing it on his own. Once we assembled, which only took less than 15 minutes, he was motoring all over. Assembly wasn't difficult either, I was able to do it on my own without an extra person. Directions were easy to follow and I was able to adjust it to his height without any problems. The handlebars raise enough to three different height options.
As far as safety, the scooter was very easy for him to balance. The deck was also very durable so that he wouldn't lose his footing. I liked the light-up wheels too. My son thought it looked cool, but I thought it was also great to make him more visible riding at dusk. The scooter wasn't heavy and it folds up, so I was able to take it to the park with us.
