This towel rack is of exceptional quality. It is beautiful and very sturdy, and assembled easily in minutes. I searched the internet for a good looking towel stand at a reasonable price to replace my ugly white PVC water ballast base stand after the base plug disintegrated. And it is a steal at the price. You can pay a lot more for a lot less! The all metal stand has a heavy base that shows no signs of tipping. I couldn't be happier!

Beautiful. It looks just like the $400 one from a well known furniture design store (BD). It's easy to assemble, is heavy, and holds several damp beach size towels with no danger of falling over.
However, it is about 10 inches shorter than the one from BD. And the arms are a couple of inches. shorter, too. Doesn't matter if using this as a towel caddy to keep fresh nicely folded towels within reach by the pool.
But, for hanging damp towels to dry and you want to spread them out, it's a bit short. If towels aren't folded, they will touch the floor. Where we live, towels will still dry quickly in triple digit arid heat, under the full sun, even if they are folded. BUT... It would be a lot nicer, if it was 10" taller so even the largest towels don't touch the floor.
At $60-$70 dollars, I'm still very pleased with this!!!
