I took this with me on a road trip in my car which had a weak battery which would die after sitting just a couple hours. I was able to jumpstart the car six times over the matter of a couple days without recharging it And it still had 93%. It's A little bigger than my cell phone and about three times as thick. I liked it so much I bought another for my dad.
Portable Jumpstarter/Battery Bank

I think this and item every vehicle should have. In the event of a dead battery you don't have to find someone to give you a jump.
When you open the box you will find the device, a pair of jumper cables, a usb-c cable, instruction manual and quick start guide all inside a nice case with a zipper. On the left side of the device there's a 5V/3A usb-c port to charge it up. Below that, under a rubber flap, you'll find a EC5 port to plug in the jumper cables. On the right side there is two usb-a ports. A 5V/2.1A and 5V/3A to charge your phone or to power other devices. There is three white LEDs on top for the flashlight. There's also a compass. On the back of the device it says it battery capacity is 66.6wh. Some quick math shows that comes out to 5550mAh.
A single click of the power button will show the amount of charge the device has. A three second press will activate the flashlight. Subsequent short presses will cycle through the flashlight modes. A three second press again will turn the flashlight off. I plugged my phone into the 2A port and my phone started charging normally. That's good because it will say "charging slowly" if it was lower than 2 amps. I plugged into the 3 amp port expecting to see "charging rapidly" on the phone but it still just showed charging normally.
Unfortunately I can't test this unit's main feature as I don't have a vehicle with a dead battery right now. I will however, come and update this review if this device fails in any way or the cold of winter kills it's battery.

Super nice features, convenient size

I don't know why, but when I ordered this I expected it to be a lot bigger, so I was trying to figure out where I could squeeze it in my car. Much to my surprise, I can fit it anywhere in my car! It's nice and compact, but it loaded with features like flashlight, compass, and USB charger, in addition to the obvious jump starter. It's one of those things that I hope I'll never need, but I'm glad I have it just in case.
An excellent jump starter and emergency backup USB power supply.

This emergency jumpstarter is lightweight and comes in its own carrying case. It is pretty small for what it is. The cords for the jumpstart are big enough for most applications, but beware if you have one of those vehicles where the battery terminals are far apart because the battery is actually remotely located under the floor in the car.
Besides the jumpstart ability it can also function as an emergency power source via the USB ports, which have two separate amp outputs ratings. It also has a flashlight built in as well as a compass. They definitely tried to make this as useful as possible which I appreciate. Overall, this is a quality option for a common sense safety piece of equipment.

Jump your OWN car, no assistance needed

The media could not be loaded. Ok, I'm not sure why I wasn't aware of this product earlier, but I think it's a must have for anyone, not just owners of cars that are old and not super reliable.
As an owner of relatively new cars, I still have had issues where I've needed to get a jump. Once I was in a secluded area and I couldn't just ask people around me, and once when my recently licensed daughter was driving the car and I didn't want her dealing with strangers in an unknown area. Our car's battery is ok, but I got distracted once and left the blinkers on after getting out of the car for a hike, and when my daughter was out, as a new driver she was unaware that simply playing the radio (while the car wasn't running the gas) for a couple of hours, could actually drain the battery enough to where the car didn't start. People make innocent mistakes like this all the time, and while we have AAA, it can sometimes take almost 2 hours for them to come and jump your car, which is not very convenient, especially late at night!
This gets around the issue by allowing you to jump your car yourself via the build-up charge in the lithium ion battery pack it has, in addition to providing an emergency flashlight. You can even use it to charge your cell phone in an emergency if yours is running low. My plan is to take it out of the car daily to check the charge level - which is very conveniently given as a very clear numeric percentage value by clicking the power button - to see how much power drains naturally from the battery in a day. Of course, the colder it is, probably the more power will drain, so I want to figure out the maximum it will probably drain per day so that I'm stuck with a dead charger. The instructions suggest you should only need to check it once per month and you should keep it charged to at least 50%, but I'm thinking that might vary depending on how cold your car gets - unless you opt to take it into your house every night, but then you have the issue of remembering to bring it with you every time you go driving.
As you may have surmrised, I haven't been able to actually test this out by jumping my car, so I can't actually vouch for that ability, so you (and I) will have to take the manufacturer's word on that and hope for the best. I will of course update this review if I actually have to jump my car, but like most safety devices, I don't particularly WANT to be in a situation where I would need to actually use them, so I have to rely myself on trusting others who've had the misfortune of having to use them in a real scenario.
However, based on the specs and the build quality of this device, it seems to be a solid unit and I'm hopeful that it will be reliable in getting us out of the type of jams we've had recently where we've had to wait a long time for AAA to show up - or try to contact a friend to see if they could come help us out late at night. Of course, now that this will presumably be in our car all the time, I'm sure just having it there will probably mean that we won't have another of these incidents for another 5 or 10 years!
