This is a really well-made tactical sheath. Pretty standard design with two side pockets in the front pocket for extra blades or additional bits. It represents a really good value considering how well-made it is. And the snap opens and closes very securely but it's not too hard to close. I noticed on some of the cheaper sheets the snap is a huge problem. This one is just as good as the ones that came with my multi tools. You can't go wrong with this one .

I have been carrying the original Leatherman Tool for over 35 years. Never leave home without it. I have gone through a few Leatherman holsters. A lot of the "replacement" holsters have Velcro on the flaps, which doesn't last, and I don't feel safe with that type of closure method.
(Having typed that, I have started carrying a different brand of multi-tool sometimes, and this holster is absolutely perfect for this particular tool!)
THIS case has a snap which I really prefer. I KNOW the tool is staying put. The construction of the holster is very heavy duty and I'm sure it will last for years.
The side pockets are a plus, and although I haven't figured out exactly what I want to put in 'em for now, I'm sure I will. I carry an EDC flashlight in a different holster, but a penlight would fit in one of the pockets nicely.
I like this holster and recommend it.

I like the build of this pouch, especially the way they have doubled up the belt loop so you can slide it on with your belt or put it over the belt with the Velcro tab. My multi tool fits well and a flashlight is another easy option on the side. Things stay nice and secure and ready to grab. If you like carrying on your belt, this might be an option you'd like. It offers good retention and a nice way to add tools to your set.

I began with the original, and went up the improvement scale from there.
If you are in need of a well-built-to-last sheath--it seems like sheaths for Leatherman Tools get worn out in no time---then this is the sheath for you.
Tough materials, solid construction.
I would have gone a full '5' stars, but I think that the elastic side panels are actually a weakness in the strength of this sheath. I get that they allow for extra leeway for assorted Tool designs, but different sheaths would better serve that purpose instead of having the sides of the sheath be a less protective material.
Just my opinion.
