This is an awesome water softener for the RV. I love that it comes with so many attachments to fit whatever your setup is. It comes with an insulated sleave to keep it from getting really hot in the sun. I give them extra points for having an instructional video on how to recharge the resin. I love when sellers/manufactures do not just assume everyone automatically knows how to operate or maintain their products and give useful, easy to follow instructions. With that said, this is an easy-to-use, portable water softener that should last a very long time with proper maintenance.

I ordered this for my RV on City Water. I have this stationed right before my water filter. Water comes in from the city tap, through this softener, through my filter, and then to the faucets and fixtures in my RV.

The setup was very straightforward - nothing different than what you'd expect with any other RV water softener. It took me a total of no more than 10 minutes to get this water softener installed, including flushing it out - be sure to this!! If you have any issue with water pressure after installation, it is most likely because you have not flushed out the softener.

The softener includes a ton of very useful accessories. You will have everything you need to get hooked up, no need to run to any hardware stores. The quick connectors were a great addition, especially if you are not at a permanent site.

As for the weight and size of this thing, it is heavy. It's not any heavier than any other RV softener, though. The previous one I had was a name brand and weighed about the same.

I have noticed a difference in how my hair and scalp feel since I began using this softener. I have not noticed much of a difference in the skin on the rest of my body yet, but I think my RV water filter was already taking care of that.

Overall, this is a pretty sweet package. If you're on hard water, I would absolutely recommend getting this filter.
