I got this so I wouldn't have to crawl into the back of my truck to grab things anymore; I wish I had gotten it sooner! It's super easy to put together and I like that it comes with two options for the "grabber" - a claw and a hook. I keep the claw on because it's easy to grab a bigger variety of items with it. It extends a good distance and I no longer have any trouble getting those hard to reach items from the depths of the truck bed. I'm happy I have it and have even loaned it to our neighbors who are now going to get one too. I do think it's kind of expensive for essentially a pole with a hook on the end. However, it's become something I use on the regular and has saved my knees from the hard truck bed, so i'm happy with it overall.

Hating to admit I am older now (60) and hopping in the bed of my truck isn't as easy as it used to be. This pole is sturdy and great for getting items - especially heavy items - you couldn't easily reach before or had to get in the truck bed to get to. Just extend. Use the hook and pull towards the end of the truck bed. Besides my large mounted toolbox - I have a stacked toolbox with a lot of hand tools etc. I'd say the 2 boxes weigh about 50# and this grabs it with ease so I can pull to the tailgate and not have to jump in to get tools.
