I bought this specifically to house a turntable. I have cats and needed a door that would close while using the record player - spinning things and cats aren't a good combination when you want to protect your vinyl. Finding a cabinet that had shelves and interior dimensions large enough to house a record player (needed 17 inches minimum with the doors closed) was pretty daunting. This did the trick.
I have my receiver, turntable and various game consoles housed in two that are side by side. The adjustable shelves make ensuring airflow a breeze (pardon the pun.) and I ended up not using all of the shelves. TV sits atop at the perfect height for viewing from across the room.
Straightforward assembly that could have been completed solo, but i had some help from my SIL. This rounded out my entertainment wall nicely. I already had the bookcases that flank each side.
