The media could not be loaded. This handy garden tiller is well designed and built. It uses readily available Dewalt batteries and runs for a long time even on the small 2 amp hour batteries.
I haven't used a powered tiller before. It's always just been me and the garden hoe. This is better.
The tiller is easy to assemble and even easier to use. The tiller blades are easy to remove even when plugged up with weeds.
The Dewalt 20 amp battery (not included) that drives this tiller is definitely up to the job. I got more than 15 minutes of continuous use out of one 2 amp hour battery, which is the smallest battery Dewalt makes. Changing the battery takes seconds.
Lots of power! I was concerned about that, but this little guy powers through thick weeds and small sticks with no problem. The blades dig fairly deep into soft soil. We've had a lot of rain this year, so I don't know how it will handle dry, hard ground, but it works great when the soil has any give to it at all. And it keeps biting even when the blades are completely clogged up with weeds. No slow down at all.
It's easy to use. The adjustable handle allows you to set it comfortably for your body size. The blades are close enough together that it can get in to some pretty confined spaces without doing any damage. It may not be the best choice if you have a large space to till. The swath it makes is only about 8 inches or so wide.
Bottom line: a fine addition to the garden tool shed at a very nice price point.

This little tiller is impressive even when used with only a three amp hour DeWalt battery here's what I found. Sure you're not going to till hard ground but it's perfect for reworking flower beds. It's easy to assemble and much lighter weight than a gas powered equivalent.

It used the batteries as it said. I tried it out and it seems sturdy, especially for the price. It wasn't hard to put together, but the instructions were no help!

I ordered this tiller because I couldn't get my gas powered one started, again! I didn't really need a full sized tiller to turn my small floer beds and was intrigued when I saw this one. I already own Dewalt tool and have the larger amp batteries and was impressed by the reviews. This thing is awesome. Larger and heavier than expected and powerful. I tilled over 100 square feet of hard dirt in no time. I hope it will last a long time. Time will tell.

I bought another battery powered tiller that uses proprietary batteries (no longer available) and the gearbox drive was so bulky it jammed weeds between the casing and the tines.
This tiller has a brilliant ring pin arrangement that lets me take off the tine in seconds to clean out weeds, and they don't jam because the gearbox connection is compact. Beautifully engineered and it uses my existing DeWalt 20 volt batteries.
