The media could not be loaded. I have posted a video review that covers most of the highlights. The unit surprised me in that I have tried other bluetooth headsets and have sent them right back. These are light weight and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. Plus, the sound quality surpasses every other unit I have tried. The only real negative, and this is very minor, is that the pairing instructions are a tad vague. Still though, I was able to pair and use them within a few minutes out of the box. This is the first bluetooth headset that will not be going back. It's that good.
Best work purchase I’ve made so far!

Got this at first thinking it was the whole setup but mostly my fault. Listing states it's for the earpiece only but usually they only highlight the actual product. Still works great with my radio and should work with any radio that has the stacked 2-pin audio connection. Audio quality is good, I like the isolation that blocks out any background noise. Fitment was good for me, I normally use the medium size earbuds. Still a good product and I like anything that eliminates wires going to my ears. There's nothing worse than pulling a wire out of your ear by getting it caught on something. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to go wireless on their 2-way setup.

The basics here are fully functional. You have a dongle that gets attached to your radio. Power it up. Power up the Push-To-Talk, microphone and ear piece. Now, when you push the PTT button on the Samcom device, you're transmitting over the radio. Right out of the box, this all worked.
Now, the issue is the sound quality. But, not everywhere.
I tested first on the Radioddity GD-88. It's a Digital and analog radio. Sound quality was excellent. And, unlike another one of these wireless microphones, this one didn't have any clipping or sound quality issues with this radio. Beeps on the radio came through just as clear as transmissions. So, if that was all I tested, I'd give this five stars and talk about the build quality (which is actually pretty good).
Instead, I tried it on other radios.
I tried two other digital radios. The Radioddity AT10 and the Wouxun 901. The Wouxun worked just like the GD-88. The AT10 had a weird hum that came on before and after every sound.
So, analog radios.
I tried the Tidradio H8 and the Baofeng UV-17 Pro GPS. Both had the same hum sound. Quansheng K6, same issue.
On the off chance that this was caused by a low battery, I charged both SAMCOM units. Even after charging, on some radios, notably the cheaper ones, I received the hum. However, not on all the radios. I checked the connections, and I'm sure I had the dongle fully seated on the radios where I got the hum.
UPDATE:
After posting my review, I was contacted by SAMCOM. They explained that they had seriously only made this wireless unit for use with their radios. So, I tested it on their FPCNA30A radio. It worked really well. Sound quality was good. Response was good. I've updated my review to 4 stars. I'm still dinging them for one star because if you're going to make anything with a Kenwood style connector, you better assume it's going to be used on the plethora of radios out there that use it. However, overall, I'm impressed with the workmanship on this wireless headset and with their radio.
