Do consider ..... it IS Chinese made , saying that you can expect it to be made a bit cheaper ....HOWEVER, the cheap is covered over by the way it is done , very creative the way it comes together during assembly , the materials are lighter BUT when it is fully assembled it is quite impressive of its sturdiness and rigidity . I got one to basically rip 2 x 4 s ...... AND rip those very well and easily. The 10 inch blade set at full height rips lumber nicely ... I am really satisfied with its performance . Bolted to the frame the plastic body of the saw is solid. The motor is very strong , I am comparing to a 10 saw that was priced at over 500 .... chinese do make good electric motors. They did some safety things on it too.... gotta be careful these big saws.
