This is phenomenal if you have no bass in your car like in my 2006 Honda Civic it only has six and a half inch speakers which basically have no bass I put mine under the seat and it sounds fantastic but you're not going to get Earth shattering results You're going to get based that sounds good but not bass that'll make your girl moist so yeah if you're looking for something that just gets your car sounding pretty good because you have literally no bass this is a good option

This is a fantastic little sub as long as you're not looking to rattle windows. I would put this at the same level as a *nice* OEM subwoofer in terms of power/clarity. Matches the factory sub in my 2012 X5 with the premium sound package, possibly exceeds it. It's also extremely compact and easy to place somewhere out of the way.
That said, this isn't any easier to install than a traditional sub/amp combo despite what the ad says. It still requires all the same wiring as a traditional sub; power, ground, and 12v on/off signal. It's a bit disingenuous to advertise it as such when the only difference between this and a traditional sub is the lack of the foot of speaker wire that goes between the amp and sub in a traditional setup.
Regardless of that, this is a fantastic little unit. If you're just looking to upgrade a car that came without a sub from the factory and don't expect show-winning performance, this is the unit to get.

It wont get obnoxiously loud to annoy your neighbors, but it can still get down to very low frequencies though its not as powerful at around 30Hz and below - which is to be expected. I had this sub/amp installed by Al&Eds in Santa Monica, Ca. They'd never heard of this brand and I admited I was taking a risk based on the reviews. I recommend having pros do the installation.
The little Woofer under my seat puts out great sound. I bought this thinking I had purchased a 10 inch sub but when measured, it was an 8 inch. So don't let the box fool you. Still I'm happy with the unit and the 100 watts RMS is enough for now. The box says 480 peak watts but that's fuzzy math. Still hits pretty decently and worth the money if you don't have space. May need a second Woofer under the other seat.
