Bought this for fruit display. Can be used for anything. Great quality for the price.

These arrived well packaged in a box that would be suitable for gifting. The trays themselves are well put together with dado-rabbit joinery in a total of nine pieces: 4 sides, 4 corners, and tray bottom.

I particularly like that the corners are rounded. There is a slight lip on the bottom where the sides extend past the tray - maybe a quarter inch. The handles seem secure and I wouldn't expect them to break easily.

These are attractive and a good size for carrying your snacks from the kitchen. They'd also be great as a tray in the living room if you have an ottoman instead of a coffee table, perhaps.

They are lightweight, and the sides seem stronger than the bottom. In fact, if I were to worry about any part of this failing eventually, it'd be that someone cracks the bottom of the tray by forcing it down on something uneven.

Under normal usage expectations, these should remain durable and attractive for years. It suggests cleaning by wiping them out, and I wouldn't recommend any water-intensive washing since they are wood. DEFINITELY NOT a dishwasher item. It also suggests that you could apply some mineral oil to them occasionally to keep the wood from drying and cracking over time.

The finish is attractive, complete on all sides and inside the handles, and consistent all over. There are no rough edges anywhere. There may be minor variations in size, but the differences in mine are minuscule.

I would be 100% confident buying these again and sending them as a gift without having to receive it myself to verify quality first.

I liked the light weight feel not heavy on the lap when using it as a "TV " tray. I've used this tray as a charcuterie board , in my bathroom to place a straightener on so I do burn the counter and on an ottoman to place remotes. This is a multipurpose item around my home.

These trays are quite attractive and mostly well constructed. My only area of concern is with the thin bottoms. For my needs, they will be fine, but I won't be loading them up with much weight. I ordered these mainly to serve small amounts of snacks and appetizers to my guests. I would trust them to deliver breakfast in bed too. Overall,the trays are very attractive with smooth flawless wood. At $40 for the pair, I'd like to see a bit more strength on the bottoms. Even with the thinner bottoms, I'm pleased, and I will surely be proud to serve my guests from these beautiful trays.

This is a great size for serving a meal in bed, and also for laying out a cheese spread or charcuterie board for you and your significant other or a couple of friends.

The color and wood grain is very attractive. I don't have any other acacia pieces, so I was surprised how light it is, which is great as far my needs go.

The interior finish on mine is not perfect. A bit of extra finish is beaded up in certain crevices, and one small swath of the finish appears to have been applied in a different direction than the rest of it. But these imperfections are only noticed on close inspection.

They don't bother me, and I plan to line the bottom to protect the surface when I use it to serve food anyway.

Right now it's sitting on top of my entertainment center looking good while holding some odds and ends in place and preventing my cat from pushing everything onto the carpet.
