Good machine, Excellent customer service

Wanted to purchase a reformer to use at home. Did some research and decided on this machine. It had good reviews and many compliments on the customer service team. It was easy to assemble, though I would have liked a bit more detail in the directions regarding the nuts and bolts. I had quite a few left over, since the machine was almost completely assembled I couldn't find any place for them. The shoulder pads are not as large as I had hoped, which can be a bit uncomfortable. It glides smoothly and feels sturdy. What is probably the most exciting is after I purchased the machine it dropped in price by $100. I contacted Arkantos to request a price adjustment, which they gladly approved. They have been extremely responsive and have offered any additional help going forward. I am very pleased with my purchase and this company.

I had the opportunity to learn reformer Pilates several years ago at Club Pilates with a seasoned instructor. A move ended my almost daily classes, fast forward 5 years and diagnoses of osteoarthritis in my knees, Fibromyalgia and decreased mobility. I knew the answer was Reformer Pilates. I had my heart set on one of the big brands, but my husband did not! I did quite a bit of research and read reviews and the Arkantos Pro home reformer looked sturdy and came bundled with accessories at an amazingly affordable price point. I am grateful to other reviews that guided me to this brand!
I received it in about 10 days. It came in two separate boxes. The smaller of the boxes held the box and assembly pieces. The larger of the two boxes held the mostly assembled bed. The heavy cardboard boxes were lined in styrofoam and all parts carefully wrapped in foam sheets and taped well. There were a couple of small punctures to the boxes, but not a single scratch on the reformer. It took me approximately an hour to assemble using the assembly video on the products Amazon site. There were paper instructions included in box, but, using the video is much more helpful as the order of assembly is important.
As you can see from my video, the reformer is substantial and solid. The carriage is as smooth as higher priced models and I foresee having no problems with quality . The straps are vinyl, and I probably will upgrade them at some point, the carriage is not quite as cushy as the big brands, but, I am not going to be sleeping on it! It folds for storage so the footprint is smaller than studio equipment. At 5'7" I have no complaints with the carriage length.
I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with this reformer given its quality and price point! If Santa doesn't bring one to you"¦order it for yourself, it is a fantastic buy!
