I ordered this and downloaded it within minutes. (I do have 300mbps for Internet Speed). Then it did updates and I was ready to work on my taxes within minutes.

They did some nice updates this year especially when it comes to Dividends. Easier than ever.
Downloaded the state within minutes and that was just sooooo easy.

Just be aware, if you got a new computer this year (like me) when you file your taxes, you will need the Adjusted Gross Income (I was like, what is AGI? lol) to file. It won't auto populate. Hope you saved it on an external hard drive before you got rid of your old computer. (I did that and it saved me!!) If not, then you will need to file a paper copy. This proves who you are to the Federal Gov't or they won't accept an online filing.

I filed my taxes and got my refund within the week!! Everything was good with no errors. Yeah!!
I love TurboTax.

I have used TurboTax Home/Office yearly since 2015 and have no reason to switch! The software installation is clear to understand and guides you step-by-step in for your tax prep. It's cost effective for preparing your own tax returns opposed to hiring a CPA or bookkeeper.

My only caveat is the software is only compatible with Windows 10+ over the past few years. I'm a devout user of Windows 8 and cannot stand 10 and especially 11. I managed to secure a copy of Windows 10 installed on a separate partition solely to use TurboTax for the past two years. INTUIT, PLEASE MAKE YOUR SOFTWARE BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE WITH OLDER OPERATING SYSTEMS!

TurboTax is now my preferred software for preparing the taxes for my family, plus two side businesses "” including an LLC. This package does it all, as well as dealing with investment interest and dividend reports.
I've used competitor's software (H&R Block) and it past years thought they were great, as well as often having a cost advantage over TurboTax. But this year the reviews of the competing software for home and business were so bad that I just didn't want to risk the headache. Plus, I used TurboTax last year and keeping with the same program makes it much more convenient as it remembers your previous investments and business costs, and makes them part of the interview.
Note that pretty much all the tax software programs say they can easily import previous year's data from competitor's programs, but this function is really limited. All they do is import the numbers from you filing and you still end up having to re-enter a ton of stuff. Easier just to stick with one. Also helps you avoid missing anything from one year to the next.

I've used TurboTax for more than 20 years. Each year I buy it wherever I can find the best deal and lately that's been on Amazon. Starting last year I found the installation of the program very frustrating. I would download the product just fine and then extract the compressed files to install but that's where the process would break down. After spending an hour or more trying to figure out what was wrong I gave up. The next day I called TurboTax (Intuit) for help. After nearly 2 hours trying a myriad of things culminating in nothing but frustration (for both of us), the TurboTax rep finally suggested we try setting up a new user account on my PC with administrator rights and installing there. Lo and behold, that was the trick. And now I can still access the program from my usual user account (that is also an administrator account). The rep suspected that my McAfee Advanced - Individual app was somehow to blame--even though we had turned all security features off before attempting the install. So, while I don't know if McAfee was to blame, I did want to report to anyone else having trouble with installation to try the new user account tactic first--it's simple and it worked for me. I named the new user account TurboTax Install and plan to keep it for next year. BTW, I have a PC running Windows 11 Pro.
