Got these for my father in law who has a neighbour that always parks too close. He seems to like it. The reflective strips are a nice touch and makes it a little more noticeable at night. You really don't even notice these until you are really close to the vehicle which is a good thing, I wouldn't want someone to want to test it out!. Surprisely these are very light weight, i thought they would be heavier. When I received the package I thought it was something else, so I'm not sure exaclty how much protection it will provide. It was a breeze to install these and the velcro firmly attaches to the trunk floor. No one has rammed his bumper yet and hopefully they don't but so far so good.

I do think it is thick enough for small minor car accidents like what I just got through.
My bumper was cracked with a finger tip size hole.
This bumper cover is exactly what I was looking for to protect my bumper.
Don't expect this to protect big accidents, even cars got crashed, a protector won't do anything.
However, it is good enough for small minor dents and hits.

We live in a funny world. We build huge McMansions with master bedroom closets that are twice as big as the first house we lived in. They have thousands of square feet of living space but have 19.5 x 19.5 two car garages that literally won't fit most cars sold today.
Our house isn't near that big and our garage isn't that small but in order to be able to walk behind my pickup I have to pull it forward until it touches the front wall of the garage. It doesn't do much damage to the garage wall or my truck but I don't like it. When I saw this product I knew it was exactly what I needed to stop the damage.
I already have some Motor Trend brand floor mats in my truck and they are great so I knew this would be good quality. It came in a nice box folded in the middle but has absolutely no seam when unfolded. The rubber material is firm and strong but has a good feel to it. I just held it in place and put a couple small nails through the straps and was finished.
Nice product.

I've come to realize that a bumper guard is a must have if you park in an area that requires parallel parking. This one by Motor Trend is an affordable option that provides good protection.

What I like:
Made from a really thick heavy duty rubber material
Has reflective light strips
Easy and fairly quick to install

What I don't like:
The bumper guard is on the heavier side so having to remove and reinstall it everytime I'm parking is a pain.
Backside is not soft to protect your car's paint
