This is a quality chair mat. No adhesive needed. Just take in out, unfold and put on the floor of your choice. The color is even a looks fantastic. The backing is a hard but flexible plastic like texture that protects the floor. Does not move - I even tapped it with my foot and it did not budge. Chair slides smooth and easily. A person weighing around 250lbs sat in the chair and no differences from a lighter person. Will be buying another one for my home office space.
