Though our days of having little ones around are gone until grandkids happen (hopefully long from now) this wipe warmer is great to have around for personal sanitation reasons. Even adults hate using cold wipes. We also like to use wipes when camping, and having this in our converted cargo trailer will be a nice way to clean up quickly using wipes when we don't want to go to a bathhouse, or do not have access to one (our trailer does not have shower facilities). Keep in mind that it is not battery powered, and will need to be plugged in. Though, you could probably run it off of a battery back, if you have one capable of the voltage it requires. All in all, a very useful device to have. Also of note is that opening it is somewhat weird, there is what looks like a switch on the front of it, which locks the lid closed, you will have to shift this switch to open the warmer and insert wipes.

This warmer must stay plugged in at all times to operate. I mistakenly ordered this thinking it was rechargeable. I wanted this for my bathroom water closet but there's no plug in there so this is useless to me. Rather the warming process is going to be useless for me. So I'll still use it but I'm not going to be able to use the warming feature. So it's no fault of the seller, I didn't read the description fully. So it does in fact keep the wipes warm. Wish it was rechargeable or battery operated.

My baby never liked the initial pinch from the cold wet wipe. Decided to try one as we have the changing pad from the same company. The warmer works well. It does not make it hot. My baby doesn't dread getting his bottom wiped anymore. The only downside is that it must be plugged in at all times for the warmer to do its job.

I considered wipe warmers to be a little 'extra' and a frivolous luxury item, but prices have come down and I have discovered keeping a baby happy by not slapping a cold wipe on their tender bottom saves everyone a lot of angst. This warmer is pretty standard: it plugs in, so it needs to stay in one place and near an outlet; it has a light that you supposedly can use instead of the full room light (but I need more than what this offers); it takes the edge off the chilly wipes but does not make them actually hot; has a locking lid with a dispenser slot; and it holds the standard amount. You don't just plop a pack into this unit, you need to open up the pack of wipes and put them in the warmer, and they will dry out a little over time, so be sure to add a little bit of water every so often. This warms very gradually and gently--will take upwards of 12 hours to get a fresh pack to temperature. This is a great and thoughtful gift for a new mother--it is something she probably didn't think of, but will be extremely happy to have.

Having had two kids myself, it's great to have a wipes warmer especially when babies are crying in the middle of the night, who wants to feel something cold and wet?

I do like the thoughtfulness of the features- on/off night light, one handed open feature, the window to see when to replenish. All great things I didn't have in my old wipes warmer that I think are pretty useful!
