Works perfect. My fiancé loves coffe, and especially espresso. She said out of all the espresso makers she has had and uses, this one makes the best tasting. Super easy to use, and works great

Love this Bialetti Moka Express 9 cup pot. It doesn't create 'crema' but the taste is near the same as espresso at a fraction of the cost of a espresso maker, and a lot less fuss to use and clean! Pair this with a milk frother and you have cappuccino or latte. The 9 espresso cup size makes about 6 - 4 oz. cups of coffee. For the best coffee, fill the tank with water just below to the safety valve and fill the basket up to the top with medium ground coffee, mounding slightly, and press grounds very lightly to even the basket. I turn off the heat and take it off the stove just as the coffee rises to the bottom of the spout so not to burn the coffee; the rest of the coffee will continue to fill the pot. I like the taste of this better than my french press.
