No joke... this works. I got this for a friend who is elderly with mild osteoporosis and arthritis for at least 8 years. This condition caused some cramping and stiffness making it difficult to get out of a chair or car or couch if seated too long (15 or 20 minutes).
I couldn't believe my eyes; with after just 2 weeks of using this product there was such a noticeable change of getting straight up and walking without stiffness or aches. Just up and walking smoothly. We were shocked and never expected such an improvement. Will continue using.

I first ordered this product, because my son (who is a Vet) said that a similar product (made by this company for animals) worked on the animals in his labs. I am skeptical, but based upon that advice, I started using the product. Within just a few days, the almost crippling pain in both of my hips disappeared! Unfortunately, there are a couple of other variables (changes in my life) that took place at the same time. Now, I am not POSITIVE about the cause and effect involved in my use of this Cosamin DS, but I refuse to stop taking it, because I'm afraid of the consequences in case there IS a cause/effect relationship between ingestion of these pills and the disappearance of my pain!!

After treating animals with a similar product from Nutramax and seeing impressive results, I tested out this brand for people. High quality, fast results compared to the others. I did hear a presentation at an veterinary event from their salesperson about how their method of production ensures faster efficacy. I was doubtful until I tried it, then switched brands for a test. Remarkable difference, just in every-day pain and stiffness levels. I do not doubt anymore and am loyal to this brand for everyone in the household--four legs or two.

I was sceptical when I Initally heard about this brand of Cosamin. I played basketball in college and in independent leagues following college for many years. So, needless to say, I have shoulder pain now. A friend told me that her doctor recommended that she and her husband use this brand. My husband has pain in his knee and shoulder as well, so we thought we would try it. We took two a day for the first 2 weeks and then 1 a day. They work!! My pain was eased greatly ,within the first week, and is often completely gone.
We thought we were doing great after about six months of use, so we stopped taking them. MISTAKE!! After a few days the shoulder pain was back. So we ordered them again and went back to the one a day!! We plan on continuing them daily!
