Works fine.

It helped a little to amplify a couple of stations we listen to, but it's not a miracle antenna. If you have fairly strong signals in your area it will work well. NO antenna can "pull in" a weak signal; it's physics. All it can do is amplify the signal you receive.
It Works As Advertised!

Looking to significantly improve FM reception? This is the one to do it. It's more expensive than passive antennae - But it's worth it!
Just follow the simple instructions- Adjust location, height, and gain. It may take some minutes because you first locate/relocate where to put it to get the best signal. Then try changing the height from the floor. Next try adjusting the gain (do this in each location) and find the optimal location. Take your time and you will find it.
I have an old amplifier/receiver to Yamaha spearkers and was using rabbit-ears antenna - living in a 4 story building. I'd find the right setup for a day or two and then noise returned - frustrating to say the least.
The new Terk antenna was instantly better and once properly located it was a great and continuous improvement.

Lesson Learned: Great Reception / Read Directions First!

OOPS!
When I first opened the package it appeared to be missing the instructions and ac adapter. I requested a return and was ready to send it back. THEN, looked more carefully in the box and found everything that was "missing." I cleaned the receiver's antenna contacts with dioxit and plugged it in. The Trek Edge brought in more signals - mostly loud and clear. Next time, I'll read the directions before passing judgement!
