From 6 inches to 29 inches. Works well at receiving radio stations. My friend borrowed it for his camping TV. He said he would like to borrow it again, I'm assuming it worked well for him. Shipping was fast. It just screws on with your own screw or bolt. If you needed a pointer this would work very well also. Pulls up easily and slides back down with ease. Stays up no problem. Happy with my purchase. Who knew I would need an antenna but there you go. I got this sturdy one. I recommend this antenna.

Nice Replacements

Nearly perfect replacements for our old GoldStar boombox.
The only issue we had was that the metal tab at the bottom of each antenna was a bit too thin, so it was impossible to tighten the pivot enough to keep the antennas from flopping down. Luckily I found some solder tabs made to fit around a small screw, so I used these thin items to fill the gap. Now the antennas stay where they should when extended. You may want to choose another brand of antenna if you can find some with a larger pivot tab.
