It was NOT flimsy, poorly packaged/damaged or previously owned as some reviewers below stated. It was packaged very well. Worked like a dream... but then again I didn't "have to" bust-out my Hulk strength to adjust it to the length of my vent. By the way, is VERY easily achieved AND amazingly... you will not even need to read directions to do so. :O I know..right!?!

I love these. I have wider vents on my floor... these are meant to be used on wall vents, but they work perfectly on my wider floor vents. My vent tops are metal so the magnets work well. They are clear... and a thick plastic. They seem sturdy. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

We moved into an apartment where the vents are near the ceiling. The bedroom vent blew right on the bed and was uncomfortable. This deflector works perfectly. The vent cover turned out to be plastic, so the magnets were not needed. Also the screw on the vents is not removable. So I hung the vent outside of the vent cover using clear push pins. Works great, and since it is near the ceiling, no one notices the push pins. And we can take the vents with us when we leave. Well worth the cost of the deflector.

Works great and the magnet is super strong unlike the previous one I got. Why do I need the magnets to be so strong? I have a roomba that goes off at a set time everyday while I'm at work. With the previous vent deflector, which goes over a floor vent in my living, the roomba would push it out of place every time it bumps into it. So everyday when I get home I have to first find my deflector in some random corner, then put it back. But the magnets on this one is so strong that it stands up to bumps and pushes from the roomba. The plastic is also much sturdier than the last one.
