The Very Best Salmon Seasoning
Fly Fishing Lady✓ Verified Purchase•May 17, 2018
This is the absolute best seasoning for salmon. Very hard to find in stores. So glad I found it on Amazon. Why is it when you find something you really love, they either discontinue it or it is impossible to find. I think the sugar and mustard seed are the key ingredients to get that perfect flavor. I broil Norweigian Salmon with a generous amount on both sides. Be sure to watch it so no over cooking! Makes it perfect.
Meh - just seasoned salt

I bought this to try when I was no longer able to purchase the large 16 oz size of Rub with Love, Salmon Rub. It's only economical in the large tub - the 3.5 oz you can find in some stores and online is too expensive (twice the price of this stuff). This stuff just tastes like generic seasoned salt that you can find anywhere. I'll not buy this again but fortunately, the 16 oz Rub with Love is available again (I was worried it was permanently discontinued). I suggest giving the Rub With Love a try, though its flavor profile is sweeter and spicier than this.
Wonderful stuff!

I am accounted a pretty good cook by friends and family and this stuff is absolutely the most wonderful seasoning I have ever found for both fish AND chicken!! I mean it -- the BEST EVER! It also works really well with many vegetables!
note: it does absolutely nothing for beef dishes - don't use it on beef!

This is great for bronzing fish or shrimp. Very easy to make: melt butter, you don't need much. Dip in your seafood. Cover with seafood magic, and I mean cover it very well. I also add some black pepper. Cook on high heat in a non stick pan - few minutes on each side. Simple and delicious. If you are afraid of putting too much experiment with it and find what works for you. We also use this in most of the seafood dishes we cook, especially when making a sauce for pasta.
Magical Salmon

I've been using Salmon Magic for years, and needed a bunch of it for a cookoff. Lucky me, Amazon had it in giant containers.
Salmon Magic isn't a subtle seasoning, but it also doesn't take away from the natural flavor of salmon. If anything, it enhances the natural flavor, with a touch of sweetness and a touch of mustard-like flavor that has consistently had people asking how I grill my fish.
Works well whether you're doing a slow cook, or if you're going face-down and almost blackened. I don't know that I'd buy the 24 oz. monster size if you're just trying it, but do try it if you grill salmon.
