Bought this for a cabinet base table saw. It is the third one I've purchased. The others are on a jointer and a planer. I believe these to be very well made a a great value. Lots of nuts and bolts to deal with during assembly but it goes together well and is rock solid when you're done. Very quick to go from rolling to stationary with just a few turns of the knobs. I'm happy with these. No need to spend more in my opinion.

The magnetic locks do not work well, the magnets are very weak. Once put together and with my table saw on it, it works very well. It was a bit of a challenge, by my self, to get it together and the saw on it. I highly recommend taking the wheels off all 4 casters and greasing the axles. Out of the box they are dry. I also greased swivel bearing on the swivel casters. I'm sure greasing made a big difference and it was quite easy.

Sturdy and Relatively easy to assemble. Had to assemble it around the bandsaw that I purchased it for, saw weighed about 300 pounds. I did not follow the instructions exactly but a they get you started properly and should work if you follow them exactly. The mobile base I'd reasonably priced and it is very sturdy once completely assembled. The rubber feet when lowered stabilize the saw and it is easy to move when they are retracted.

Consistently poor quality. I recommend buying something else. I bought one sent it back for replacement which had the same exact problem. Both are non-functional

The problem is with the knobs that extend the feet to put the base in "stationary" mode. The threading inside the base is either poorly done (out of tolerance) or has rusted. Either way the knobs will not go all the way in, the feet will not extend and the base will continue to roll. I was hoping to use this for a table so so definitely can't have it moving if I push on it.

If you do decide to buy one check the knobs first before putting everything else together.

Also, don't trust Amazon's star system. As I'm writing this review this item has 20% 1 star reviews but is still 4.3/5 stars. Try to figure out that math. This means that 1 in 5 people hated the product (Amazon's words) but it still shows up as a recommended product.

Great strudy base, but I also upgraded casters requiring custom metalwork with 1/4" steel plate to accommodate full 360 rotation off new casters.
