Great rack for wood

Shipped faster than they predicted, super easy to put together and is pretty sturdy.Everything lined up perfectly. The instructions were simple and very clear. Once assembled, the unit was lightweight and easy to move. So lightweight that I doubted its strength, but I needn't have. I stacked the wood higher than the height of the sides, and although the wood was wet and heavy when I stacked it, the unit didn't budge or bend. I really like the way the wood is elevated so high off the ground, much higher than some of the other racks I looked at. So I am very pleased. I would recommend getting a new cover as the cover that comes with it is rather cheap and rips easy

So far so good with this rack. Assembled quickly and is sturdy. Waiting to see how a wrapped tarp serves as a cover for the wood. Holds close to a half cord - one pickup truck load. This helped get the wood away from my house since I was getting some carpenter ants around the end of summer. Exterminator solved that. Keeping an eye on the finish - no concerns yet.

The 4 foot unit is decently sturdy when assembled, more than I expected at least. Works well with standard 18 inch cut firewood, not so well with smaller odd shaped pieces. Ended up putting a slab of plywood on the bottom and it works great and added stability as well. Well worth it and works great for a small fire pit or indoor rack but doesn't hold a ton of wood if you go through a lot.

Easy to put together, construction and cover are good for the price. Sits high enough off the ground to help prevent critters from setting up home in our woodpile. And the cover keeps things dry so we can use the wood right after a rain. It's plenty big enough to store wood for a summer's worth of weekend campfires, but if you use a fire to heat your home, you'll need something larger.

I own two original versions of this. They are awesome and definitely 5 stars! However, I needed a third so I ordered one more (about 6 months after my original purchase). My recent purchase is a low-quality knock-off. Thinner bars, generic box, no Landmann markings on the box or product, and thinner/smaller hardware. Landmann = 5 stars, generic knock-off = 1 star. Hopefully you get the real version. All orders 5hipped $ 5old from Amazon.
