The Only Trimmer For Me

Because of my very curly facial hair, I only dry shave. And I only trust the Andis for this task. Ive been using T outliner for years...and have owned two in a decade. My first set (bought back in 2008) needed replacing after I failed to care for it as good as I should have. But it still did cut hair well before I threw it out. I just wanted to start fresh with a new pair of clippers that I would properly maintain.
The second one is designed the same, with maybe one of two cosmetic differences in the plastic shell if you look closely. That said...the old and new trimmers are functionally the same and cut hair just as well as the other. I never worry about snags...missed hair...or a failed motor.
So long as you clean your clippers, lubricate your blades, and clean out the shell every so often, these things will last for years and years.

Leave these to the professionals

I probably got ahead of myself buying these. Thinking I'd save myself the time and money in the barber shop for shaving. These are powerful. They vibrate very hard and it's louder than the ones in the barber shop. Worst thing is I cannot shave with these without scratching myself. The blade is far from zero gapped but regardless of positioning, it always pushes past the guard to the left and the right. It doesn't even cut as clean as I'd hoped. I've tried everything. I might end up taking them to the barbershop for them to see what's up.
My go too Clippers

I've shaved my head with this without any problems and usually use it for body and facial grooming. My only issue is getting hair out the inside of the clippers, if you don't get the hair that gets trapped inside out it gets hotter faster and alot of hair can get trapped inside believe me. The entire reason I bought this is because I damaged the wiring trying to clean my last Andis outliner. They get the job done no question but the trapped hair thing becomes a problem over time.
Disappointed

Not sure if it was just me and my model, everyone else seems to be pretty satisfied with it. I found these to be surprisingly dull in use. I own a pair of small, Wahl T blade trimmers that were like $20 and I bought these Andis because I wanted something sharper and figured it would be smart to invest in better equipment. The little trimmers have a better time cutting close and creating a sharp line up than these do. Ultimately a bit disappointed. These also do get quite hot like everyone else describes.
I may have better results if I modify the blade or something, but I think if you're buying a somewhat premium for what are supposed to be professional clippers, you should have a good experience with sharpness right out of the box.

Classic clippers these are the original clippers that I knew growing up and they are still working til this day. They are very well made and easy to adjust to get the closes cut possible. I only cut with Andis T-Outliners. I would recommend these clippers to anyone.
