So I literally just unboxed, charged and used this product, so I can sit and give you my off the cuff impressions. Mind you, this was done at the tail end of a brutal heatwave in Boston and let's just say, the timing was perfect for a first run.

Construction: Almost alarmingly lightweight, I felt like a pull too hard and I'd snap it- so be mindful of that....but the rubberized grips are solid for a good purchase, and because it isn't too heavy, it makes the awkward angles easy to sustain.

Blade- small surface area when compared to a Bakblade or Broshaver. This means you do have to be a tad more patient as you will make more swipes, especially if as in my case, it's been a few weeks and the hair weaves in itself.

Performance - this is where you can pretty much disregard my previous criticisms: once you get past the learning curve, this thing works! There's no other way to put it- it takes the hair right off my back and neck and made it smooth.

Having used Bakblade and Broshaver, I had my doubts as to what an electric might do versus a DE razor. Doubts eliminated. Providing the motor holds up, I doubt I'll ever go back to those products.

Final verdict- if you have challenging body hair issues, get a Mangroomer. It works, it's effective and worth the money.

I'm hairy. So hairy in fact I was a bear rug model. That right. I had to wear a bear head and lay on my stomach while babies and toddlers sat or laid on me. Occasionally, an adult woman; ouch, yeah, that pressed me down in...areas. Well, my wife decided to buy this for my birthday. I thought, "Neat." I liked the design and the black color and red lettering oozed James Bondish groomer. I tried it not thinking of the consequences that night in our resort hotel room (we wanted to hit the hot tub). I think the four double shot Moscow Mules had something to do with my foggy mind also. At first it was hard to get the blade evenly and flat on my back (the instructions do say practice and...I was dizzy...yeah that's a good reason). I did get it flat though, and when you go nice and slow without your hand shaking from drinking, it's a nice smooth trim. Clean lines, like a lawn mower makes in high grass. The telescoping reach is unbelievable and a shorter person (say 3'5") could easily get down to the back of their calves. So, with a smooth baby bottom back, my wife impressed all around, and the continued drinking; we had a wonderful night...until Monday. I walked into the photo studio and the first thing the photographer notices when I take off my white V-neck tee is my clean, smooth, hairless back (and a few fingernail marks). His frown jolted my memory (damn you Moscow Mules). He cancelled all his sessions for the day. I pleaded with him to give me four weeks or so to regrow the dense hair which made us a few hundred a month. Alas to no avail. He would not hear of it. Luckily, next door was his competition. She needs me smooth, but the diaper and pacifier...not really feeling that fetish (money's better). Hey, it pays the bills. Overall, this product is excellent, stores great, and the rechargeable battery means it keeps me modeling. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he said it works great. He had the earlier model of this and said this one is much better and easier to use.

I have thin hair on my back that can really grow if I don't shave it. Before, I used razor. Took me like 45 minutes to an hours to get all the hair, especially from tough to reach spots. On top of that, I would end up cutting myself. I am happy I came across this. Now, I shave my back within 15 minutes of less and no more cuts. Also, my back is smooth. One of the best things I bought.
