I've had a beard of varying sizes for about a decade. I know trimmers and have a routine to shape and clean up my beard. This trimmer is by far the best I've used.
The pieces are sturdy and feel well made.
There's a range in sizes and parts that all seem useful.
It's just like clippers for your head but for your face.
The battery also works for a very long time which is always a plus. Nothing worse than a trimmer that dies halfway through a trim and that'll never happen with this trimmer.
I'm probably going to trim my beard even more often just to use this thing.

I've been using this for awhile, both to trim my beard and to clean up edges with hair cuts. It cuts plenty close without a guard, it holds a charge well and charges fast enough. The rubberized handle makes gripping it easy but also makes cut hairs stick to it (the wipe off easily with a damp hand). I haven't used the attachments at all, nor do I plan to. I'm overall happy with this.

I just ordered this trimmer again! YES, after 8 years of use, the battery will no longer hold a charge! So I done the smart thing and ordered another just like it. Where else can you spend a mere $35 on a product and have it last so long? Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with this product. It also works very well and does what it was designed to do. I hope Wahl continues to make this trimmer forever because I don't see how they could ever improve on this model. It also feels very good in your hand when using it with no cords to get in the way. I use it to keep trimmed around the ears and the back of my neck between haircuts but could also be pressed into service on your whole head if need be. Great job Wahl

I only use this for a beard and mustache trimmer, works excellent. However, a tip on cleaning the handle from clippings; the handle has a great grip so it grips the small hairs as well and was very hard to remove/clean, but just use a clorox wipe for cleaning counters and they clean up in seconds with no fuss.
Lots of attachments - but an unplesant trimmer.

In short - I returned this because it frequently pulled my hair during normal trimming. The attachment count and variety is impressive, but generally flimsy plastic.
The good -
Lots of attachments included, the different heads are easy to swap out, and compared to my previous trimmer it held a charge and was quite powerful without needing to be plugged in. For close shaving, the trimmer itself was safe and cut well - only when used at length did it frequently pull hairs, which leads us to ...
The bad -
The main trimmer pulled my hair, the electric shaver head left visible stubble. I think of the main attachment as the adjustable length guide, because that's what I'm used to using, switching for beard and mustache lengths. This was difficult to adjust (frequently slipped past the middle numbers) and the light plastic felt like it would break after enough adjustments.
This is the first miss I've had from a sweet home review, which I've had good luck following in the past.
