I LOVE this stuff! It does not leave a after taste like flour does in my apple pies or gravy. I mix berries together and add a table spoon of arrowroot to it and heat in micro wave to thicken and YUMMY over ice cream

This arrowroot powder was perfect for today's sugar-free vegetarian, high-protein snack baking experiment, and the price is very good too. This product was great to make my gluten-free paleo thin mint brownie bars fluffier. I uses raw cacao powder from Amazon (I used this Healthworks Cacao Powder Raw Organic, 1lb), and also super fine ground blanched almond meal (5LB Almond Flour Blanched, Extra Fine Ground Almond Meal - Oh! Nuts (5 LB Bag Blanched Almond Flour)) instead of flour, and a truly wonderful almond butter--also from Amazon--with no sugar added or other ingredients (Zinke Orchards Crunchy Almond Butter (3 Pack) 16oz Jars) and a few eggs and some walnut milk (ground up some raw walnuts with water to make fresh). Tossed in some raw cacao nibs Healthworks Cacao Nibs Raw Organic, 1lb, and a few crushed almonds and some powdered stevia with food grade peppermint oil. Next time will add more stevia, and maybe make a sugar-free choccie frosting, yet otherwise these high protein, gluten-free thin mint brownies came out great. Happy gluten-free baking~*

Great! This was my first time ordering and using arrowroot powder as I wanted to add a natural deodorant to the products I sell. This worked perfectly so far! My pits have been dry and odorless all day so far. My only wish is that this came in a re-sealable package as once it's open there is no way of closing it. Can end up losing product.

I bought this with the intention of using it as a base powder in loose foundation powder. The consistency of it is great. Very fine, very silky. However, it has a very noticeable and definite spicy smell that is really offputting in a cosmetic formulation. Arrowroot powder is supposed to be odorless, so I'm not sure where this smell is coming from. Maybe it's the machine they use to process (used to process other things??) or there is some kind of additive? I can't figure it out, but in any case, I can't use this as I intended because of the spicy smell.

Loved the bulk purchase of this instead of the smaller amount I purchase at a time from the grocery store. Only difference is that the store bought arrowroot is that it is in a more convienent container. It's a sealable plastic bottle with an open top, similar to a parmesaun cheese bottle. No worries though as I just save the bottle and refil it from there.
Works well in a lot of my homemade DIY organic recipes. Will purchase again.
