Ontario Knife has a long, proud tradition of making some of the finest knives in the world and this knife is right up there with the best. For the Marine Corp to choose this knife as their standard issue combat fighting knife speaks volumes.
Ready for deployment or camping, great value!

Very solid no frills combat field knife, not so pretty, a little rough in the fit and finish departments, but that doesn't stop it from being a real workhorse. No so sharp from the box, but it's 1095 steel, so no problem touching up the edge.
amazing

Stout, basic, original, tank, everything manly this thing is amazing for the price I feel like I could chop a tree down. The awesome thing about this knife is the coating on the handle. You would have to use it alot for it to come off, and then after that u still have a lifetime worth of leather to use. KABAR has just leather and the steel KABAR uses is cheap. Same as a Case CV steel. Get the Ontario

Well built knife. Not as polished as a kabar but just as good. The blade is not offset like on the kabar, which I like better. Will sharpen up very nice and the clip edge will too. I, like others stripped the paint off the handle, sanded the rough spots on the leather and baby oiled it. It looks good now.
