I have a pointy medial malleolus (inside of the ankle). This has helped me avoid a lot of pain when wearing ski boots!

Tip: I punched a ~3/4" hole in the middle of this pad and place the pad and align the hole with my ankle bone, then use Bunga Pads 5" Ankle Sleeve on top of the pad. It works great for me.
