We got this to add to his race, car set, and he is having a ball with it. It's a nice addition to the track. You already has an gives him some other options.

Works really well with our existing Carrera Go set. Only reason I don't give it five stars is there are literally no instructions on how to add sections. It isn't hard to figure out, but there are four U curves that seem like they need to be connected in a different way to work. Not sure if these are for a loop or some other type of connection we don't have, but there is no way to connect those to our current flat track, at least not one we can see. Would have been nice to have instructions included to tell you how / where to use the extensions.
The extra distance gives you a nice fast straightaway and the banked turn is fun too

This track extension adds a lot to the base Carrera go set. The extra distance gives you a nice fast straightaway and the banked turn is fun too.
Speaking of the banked turn, it's helpful to know that the four curved pieces are not curves or a loop, but allow you to bank one of your curves to about 90 degrees. To assemble, put the two single lane 'ramps' together immediately before the curve and then immediately after your curve. The small plastic pieces in the bag are the supports for the curve so that it does not have to be against a wall (assemble the three pieces together, one end will go onto the base and the other attaches onto the back of the track).

Great tracks but this set cost a little too put together. Fire like 10 or 12 pieces. For 30 bucks. A little to steep.
