Very good overhead garage storage option

These are adjustable so you can vary the depth depending upon how high your ceiling. They come with a template on the box to help you drill your holes precisely. The metal itself is coated and appears to be of good quality. Although I live in dry Southern California, I would imagine that the coating would help prevent rusting in damp climates.
Cant stop at just one.

This is the third one I have in our garage. My first one holds some garden tools and my cars roof rack. My second one holds some garden hoses and now this one is going to hold some redwood boards for just in case uses.
GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK AND IRREPLACEABLE ADDED SPACE -- PRICELESS

ABSOLUTELY, THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD! EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND HANG; WELL MADE, STRONG, AND ADAPTABLE. NO LONGER DO YOU NEED TO WASTE MUCH NEEDED STORAGE SPACE THAT PERMITS ACCESS TO STORED ITEMS, THAT REMAIN VISIBLE, AND YET OUT OF THE WAY IN WHAT IS OTHERWISE WASTED SPACE. THESE RACKS ARE "NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!" AS A DEAR, DECEASED FRIEND WAS WONT TO SAY. AND THESE SLEVES DESERVE HIS HIGHEST COMPLIMENT. I HAVE PURCHASED 7 OF THEM AND "REVOLUTIONIZED" MY UTILITY ROOM. THE VALUE YOU GET FOR SUCH A FAIR, REASONABLE PRICE AND A QUALITY PRODUCT IS PRICELESS.
For the price it gets the job done

The next closest overhead storage was $150-200 and I didn't want to spend that much for a little more room on the garage floor. I wanted a place to put the hunting supplies and emergency kit. This suited my needs. It is mostly put together when it arrives. We needed to install the main brackets and then the shelves overlay with a small screw locking them into place.
This seems woobley at first but one there are items on it there was no wobbling and it has not fell out of the ceiling. Our studs were all 12 inches apart so finding locations was not difficult. The bolts are pretty long but that just reinforces the idea that they are not going to fall out

Bought two.... maybe two more!

Happy to have these! I initially got only two because I was not sure about placement in the garage. I wanted to avoid blocking too much of the ceiling lights and also blocking the fire sprinklers should they be needed. HOPE NOT!
I understand people want clear instructions and the ones included are not too bad. I skipped some steps for this project as it seemed fairly intuitive. I installed the first two ceiling brackets on joists that are 32" apart and measured from a sheet rock seem to be on the same line. I measured the bar connectors at about 44.5", I think, and added that distance on the joists for the subsequent ceiling brackets. Put the rack all together on the ground and then, without too much trouble, lifted the rack and attached it to the ceiling brackets. About 45 min for the first and 30 for the second. Same price on Amazon as a local chain store but I didn't have to go get them.
These things are quite sturdy for the price I think. I've had no issue with them "swaying" when loading/unloading though that may be my technique :) I plan to get one, perhaps two, more for storing stuff out of the way and utilizing that "wasted" space in the garage. Now I just have to be sure not to collect MORE stuff!
