Product is awesome! I had the 7 o'clock bolt hole strip that holds the derby cover on my Harley. This caused primary oil to leak from the derby cover. It took me no more than 15 minutes to drill out the stripped hole, tap and insert the helicoil. The coil fit perfectly! The standard derby cover bolt went into the helicoil with no issue and is torqued to spec, problem solved! The kit provides more coils than I will probably need in my lifetime, but it's nice to have a few spares (11 left) in case I strip another 1/4-20 bolt hole. Make sure you have the drill bit indicated on the package to drill out the hole and tap for the coil to fit.
Worked well for repairing threads.

This worked great to repair threads. I am a little confused why it didn't come with a bottom tap rather tan the tapered tap but it still worked well.
