The material and design for this product is not strong enough to allow for pressure. What I was using it, the slightly bent portion that wraps around the Terminal Post bent very easily as pressure was applied. Because there is not adequate support to ensure it doesn't bend, it made the job a lot harder. As a fencing professional with 17+ years of experience, I strongly recommend you DO NOT purchase this product. Not worth the money. Fix the design, install adequate supports and then it would be worth purchasing.
It came in very handy and did a good job. I don't think it will last forever ...

Decent quality hand stretcher. We've used it on a commercial quality chain link fence installation. It came in very handy and did a good job. I don't think it will last forever though, but for the money it's still a good deal. I figure I'll get some more use out of it and then just buy a couple more.

I like it, think I used it correctly, but I really have no idea b/c it came with NO paper whatsoever. No instructions, pamphlet, flyer, nada! I know I want my fence on top of my chicken coop tighter, but have never used one of these contraptions before, so at the very least a one or two pictured illustration would have been helpful. I also wanted my grapevine support wire tighter, but I don't think this does that, not sure.
