It works, but not for long. I got more than one.

This switch does what it is supposed to do. Switch between 2 coaxial inputs. Thus I gave it 4 stars.

It doesn't get 5 stars because it doesn't solve my two input issue. However, the problem seems to be my TV rather than the switch. My TV must be programmed for the appropriate input. Apparently it is smart enough to know the difference between a FiOS TV signal and an OTA signal. If programmed for either FiOS or antenna, that input works fine. But when I switch inputs, I get nothing.

So, if you are thinking about buying this, test your TV first by switching the cables. If it works that way, it should work with the switch. If it doesn't save your money.

Work great

We bought this because we don't get reception of the many free digital stations with our cable service and wanted to be able to switch between cable and antenna. On one of our TVs this works great and we can switch back and forth from cable to antenna without any problems. On the other TV we need to rescan all the channels every time we use the switch.

For this to work without needing to rescan every time you use the switch, I think the TV itself needs to have a setting where you switch between antenna and cable. On the TV where this works without rescanning, with the remote we go into a settings menu and there is a Tuner Mode where you can switch between "cable" or "antenna." So when we want cable, we set both the coaxial switch and tuner mode to "cable". And when we want antenna we set both to "antenna".

On the TV were we need to rescan each time we use the switch, the TV itself does not have a a tuner mode setting. When we switch the coaxial switch we either get snow or "no signal" until we rescan all the channels.

Very very reasonable in price 6.95 great price considering you can't find them anywhere with the switch. All you could find was the plain ones and they were $10. So we are very pleased
