Perfect size for home pizza chefs

This is a good size for making pizza at home. I prepare my pizzas on parchment paper, then use this to slide the pizzas (on the paper) into the oven onto my pizza stone. After cooking for 1 min, I remove the parchment paper by using the pizza peel and an oven mitt. This is the only technique I've found for getting pizzas in.
This peel is really good for turning the cooking pizza and removing it from the oven.
Like another reviewer did, I took sandpaper and sanded down the edges- they were very sharp to begin with and I wanted this peel to be safe.

The product is overall good, it fits the PizzaQue(which was my main reason for purchasing). Where it falls short it the release fro the peel into the oven. You really need lots of flour or cornstarch on the bottom, otherwise it will not release into the oven. I wish I had purchased one with a folding handle as tis one is long and difficult to store. m

This pizza peel works great for taking pizza off of a stone. Two things I needed to do to it to make it better was 1) sand down the sharp metal edge (we're talking just looking at it I felt my hands start to bleed) 2) lightly sand and heavily oil the handle. Now it's not only gorgeous it's super useful. Just don't slice your pizza on it because you will scratch it. Happy pie making! :-)

Great price for a pizza peel it was packed really well as well. I sanded the handle, drilled a hanger hole and oiled it . It worked perfectly with my Pizza Pronto stove top model.
