Still the best

It's great to see that these are still being made. Simple & effective as they were 50 years ago. Nobody has managed to come up with a better design because there is no better design. BTW, my parents still have the one that my grandmother bought for them in 1977. Although scratched, dinged up & wearing a few drops of spilled paint, it still works like new.
Seems sturdy but dfficult to put together

I like that the step stool is a simple click together two parts. However, it was exceedingly difficult for me to get the pieces together. It required a lot of brute force. I almost gave up. I was only able to get the prongs into the holes by turning the piece upside down and basically hitting it onto a carpeted floor several times. To be frank, I was exhausted by the time I got it together. I'm sure a guy of average size could do this fine. I am a very small woman. It's stable once you stand on it. On my hardwood floors it does seem to want to move with the first foot on it, until the second foot is down. This may be an issue of my smaller size.
Awesome

best step stool for the home

As the shortest person in my house at 5'4½" the tall people don't think & put things where I can't reach. This is the BEST solution for getting to those things that are JUST out of reach. It is small enough to be out of the way when not in use & can just push it where I need with my foot when my hands are full, then as soon as I step on it is very sturdy & stable. I recommend this step to anyone needing a little extra height around the house.
Great for short people in the kitchen

Being a "shorty" I hate dragging out a 2 step every time I need to reach something. This is a great option. It's under a cooking "work" table. Just pull it out ..... rolls around easy..... very stable when you step on it.
