Bought it for students in lifeskills class. The nuts don't screw on the bolts very well. It's difficult for little hands.
Sturdy, Used for Elementary School Engineering Project

I teach science and engineering at an elementary school. These nuts & bolts are sturdy, used by all the kids grades K-5 at school. We used them for an engineering project, they used these to connect various foam pipes, cardboard tubes and cardboard (all with holes pre-drilled). I bought 2 of these!
Projectiles!

3 year old grandson used the pieces as projectiles. I guess you have to expect that with little boys. I was hoping he would build something with the pieces, but he had no interest in that.

Looked for a while for just a nut and bolt set for my boys. This was perfect for them as they already had tools and wood to screw these into. In case anyone else was wondering as I was initially, the actual screw/threads are the same diameter as othe brands., M&D. The nut/bolt part is much larger and much sturdier for frequent use than others out there. these are great for my 2 boys.
