It was stiff and wrinkled and never laid flat, so never quite stayed in place or worked right.

The arm chair Caddy is perfect for what I needed. I have a electric chair that goes back or forward to almost a standing position (to dump me out). The control kept falling off the side. The Caddy gives me a place to set the control so it won't fall off. Also, I can keep kleenix handy in the pocket.

Bought two of these caddies a couple of years ago and bought a 3rd one as a back up recently. They work really well; they don't move. We store TV remotes, a cordless phone, a dog brush, glass cases, magnifying glass, & pens.
We have a cloth sofa w/a polyester sofa cover and the caddy stays put but I am not sure if the caddy will stay put if you put this caddy over a leather sofa. Highly recommend this caddy.

Was a bit flimsier than I expected, you can't really put anything on top other than pen,paper but NO cups or plates. The sides are good for phone and remotes. It's just OK
