This is perfect for my dad's needs. The lips on our garage door are too narrow to drill the security pins, but it is still very stable. There is a rubber mat under the bottom end of the ramp so it doesn't slip at all. We can set it on the upper or lower lip and it is smooth and secure for his wheelchair. It was a concern because he's 235 pounds. If we use the lower lip we can even close the door. Good purchase.
