I bought these tools a little over 2 years ago. I have used them for the 3ed time this past weekend to remove a stripped lug nut. Much to my surprise, the tool split in two. I would have thought that I would have been able to use it more than 2 times. I have been unable to find any address to write and see if I can get a replacement.
So far so good. Ase Mechanic

I use these for rounded lug nuts and missing wheel locks. So far so good. Ase Mechanic.
Not great quality, spend more for a sturdier product.

Unfortunately this product did not work well, if at all. I needed the 15/16 in. extractor to remove a set of wheel locks. I followed the instructions and used a breaker bar to get the bit seated on the head of the nut but it just wouldn't bite into it. The inside 'teeth' of the bit just sheared off like cheap pot-steel. I ended up having to take the vehicle to a wheel & tire shop to get the locks busted off for an additional charge. Lost hours, plus lost additional money = not a worth product. It's almost like this is made for SOFT metals like aluminum, brass, copper, stainless - not hardened steel or chrome like you would have for lug nuts/bolts. If that's the case, update the product details to reflect that. This probably would have worked fine on soft aluminum lugs.
Quality Issues

These pictures are from after one use. If these were $15 Harbor Fright sockets then that would be ok, but I expect more from SK quality. I used a ½" breaker bar on a stripped and over tightened lug nut. Neither of them bit into the nut well, but it eventually did come loose. The sockets are so badly worn, I doubt they would work again without serious time investment. Also, which is it SK "“ are they for wheel locks or not? The packaging contradicts itself.
They work, and cheaper than a questionable universal lug key kit or going to a professional

I've been wrenching on cars for over a decade and these live up to SK's legendary quality. After looking at the other options, I wouldn't screw around with anything but this kit.
So let's be clear - you're buying these because someone has lost your wheel lock key, or some lube job doofus has rounded off a lug nut, and you are out of options.

Well, they work. Don't listen to the instructions, though. Do hammer them on, and use a big breaker bar, and they will work - eventually. I used them on round wheel locks, and it took several tries - maybe a half hour to get all four off. The first one came right off, but each other needed persuasion, like hammering the extractor on.

I wouldn't try them with an impact wrench. But a big, 24 or 18" breaker bar should be fine. Been wrenching on cas for over a decade now, and they live up to SK's reputation.
