Perfect Swedish Style Waffles

If you love the thin crispy on the outside, soft on the inside Swedish or Icelandic waffle you will love this iron. If you are expecting thick Eggo style or Belgium waffles this isn't the iron for you. It's pretty lightweight so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time, but 2 months in it's working great. You do have to follow the directions. Anything more than 1/3 cup of batter will overflow. Still the one time it did it was way easier to clean up than my old waffle iron. My husband asks for these waffles every single Saturday.

Best waffle maker ever! Super easy, zero cleanup and love that it beeps after a minute to tell you that your waffles are ready. For those that like thinner waffles, it's a great machine. Prefer mine golden, so chose the higher setting.

I am so happy with this waffle iron. At last I can have gluten free waffles that are cooked through and taste great. I've become a waffle glutton and eat them every day. Just set the switch to the "uniform texture" choice for GF. Cooks fast, too. I have other Chef's Choice appliances and have always been happy with them.

This waffle maker is simply amazing!!! A professional tool put into the hands of everyone. The very first waffles came out spectacularly, so easy to make, so quick to cook, so effortless to remove. And after a one time brief oiling, you never need use oil or non-stick spray EVER! My whole wheat waffle was scrumptuous, and the timing mechanism is exact. This earns my very highest recommendation. No wonder it was the top waffle maker selected by an objective panel of experts.

PERFECT. LIke most people I researched this to death. And SO glad I bought the one I did. It heats up quickly, the buzzer (relatively quiet) tells you when it's ready, you pour 1/3 cup of batter on the bottom, close the lid and it beeps when it's done. I only tried 2 times before I got it to come out perfectly (the first one I threw out, per the instructions and seasoning the iron). I used color setting 4 with the even setting and they come out exactly like the picture. Almost ZERO cleanup and it stores easily -- takes up very little space and the cord wraps underneath. You will LOVE this waffle iron.
