I ordered this because I was tired of seeing the normal size waffles go to waste. My daughter would always insist on a whole waffle, but only eat about a quarter of it. After learning that miniature waffles existed, I began hunting for a waffle iron that would make them and discovered this one. It shipped very quickly, but today was the first chance I've had to use it. The waffles I made were a hit with both of my daughters and my husband. They were perfectly cooked in only a few minutes. I did have a bit of a learning curve on the first attempt, due to having to adjust the amount of batter going into each mold. Once I learned to just barely fill the molds, I had perfectly shaped waffles, not that anyone minded the "oddball" waffles. The green indicator light told me when the waffles were ready, which was very helpful, as I was doing other things while the waffles cooked. A quick glance at the waffle iron and I knew they were good to go. The molds released the waffles very easily, without any need for oil, and clean up was a breeze!

While I greatly value products that perform as expected, I also have to say that I really enjoyed reading the information on the packaging. This waffle iron came from the imagination of two every day heroes, who happen to be twin brothers. In addition to putting their lives on the line, in the course of their duties (one is a fireman, the other is a police officer), these men give back to their communities in other ways. It is a good feeling to know that my purchase helped, even in a small way, to give hope to someone else.

P.S. I doubt the brothers will ever see this review, but, on the off chance they do...I am grateful for their service in their respective professions, and for their community activism!

4 minis at once great for the toddlers, they can all start with a fresh waffle at the same time. Great size for adults to have a few in the plate and still fit the rest of our breakfast.

When I first started seeing mini-waffle makers on the market, I thought people were crazy for making such a small waffle for themselves. I mean really, who wants to eat a smaller waffle? However, as I got deeper into Keto eating, I learned of this thing called "chaffles" and was soon seeing pictures of many people enjoying chaffle sandwiches made by using a mini waffle iron. Intrigued, I read peoples comments, recipes, and drooled over their pictures enough to decide to get one for myself. I was all set and ready to purchase my own mini waffle iron when I stumbled upon a review that mentioned this machine. I then decided to do some digging and research to see what was out there, and if indeed it would be better to purchase a machine that made more than one mini waffle at a time.

Enter the Burgess Brothers ChurWaffle Maker!! There were many Keto eaters who recommended this product, especially those who made large batches of chaffles to have on hand for a week of eating. I decided to give this one a go based on all those recommendations.

Now, the company does not market this product as great for chaffles, it is instead intended for corn bread like churro waffles. As such, it is intended for a thicker batter. The wells for the chaffles are nice and deep and remind me of an iron skillet more than a waffle maker.

My first batch of chaffles was made actually using almond flour, water, mayo, and egg. They came out perfectly! Never had any feet or spillage into the area separating all the waffle wells. This was actually the first time making a chaffle that I didn't end up with spill over! I quickly learned that each well holds and good solid 2 tbsp of "batter" for the perfect chaffle.

I have gone on to make true chaffles with egg and cheese, as well as dessert chaffles, breakfast chaffles, and pretty much every type that you can imagine chaffles! I love this little machine! It is great to be able to make more than one chaffle at a time, especially when you have a family of four who are all eating Keto! I make 22 servings at the beginning of the week, and refrigerate those not used on the first day. I have also used to to make the keto no corn bread with great success!! I highly recommend this product to anyone who will listen or wants to know of a good little mini waffle maker for their Keto journey.

When I first received this I was a little disappointed it was so small"¦ but it has become my favorite! It makes 4 mini waffles (roughly 2 inches by 2 inches). It heats quickly and cooks the waffles perfectly and fast! It doesn't take up much space since it's so small which is another perk. I've been making batches and then throwing them in the toaster for an even faster breakfast. I 10/10 recommend!

I bought three of these as gifts for my kids. I looked at them before I sent them to their destination and they seemed of good quality. Good size for waffles. The operation "although I did not use them" seemed easy to use. If I get complaints from the kids, I'll be back and advise here.
