Bought this expecting that it would include at least a starter recipe, but NO, just imprints on the bottom for 'brownie mix', and the other ingredients. If I HAD a box of 'brownie mix', I wouldn't NEED this item. Oh well, it was los vost.

Not bad for a microwaved cake. Taste is good and so is texture.Took off one star because it left a little bit of an uncooked part in the top center of the cake. I even put it in longer than instructed. I ended up just taking the uncooked part off with a spoon.

Brownies are my favorite dessert, but I have difficulty using the oven. I have tried the cake/brownie in a mug thing and it was intolerable, just a tasteless airy mess. Sometimes I consider ordering pizza just to get the mediocre brownies they offer. I mean, pizza is always good, but when I get a brownie craving, it's all I care about.
I have tried the Rapid Mac, Rapid Ramen, Rapid Oatmeal, and Rapid Rice cookers. I love every one of them. The food is delicious, sometimes even better than on the stove, and the cookers last for years. I recommend them to everyone.
So when I randomly came across the Rapid Brownie Maker, I was excited to try it! With high hopes, but low expectations, I gave it a shot.
The compartments are clearly marked, so it's easy to see where to put each ingredient and in what amount. Emptying into the cooker and mixing the batter was just as effortless. The entire process was quick and clean. The 3:30 cook time worked out perfectly and the brownies look as if they could have come from the oven. The cooker is nonstick and they slipped right out. All-in-all, I don't think it could have gone any better.
I like my brownies more fudgy than cakelike and this worked out great for me. I'm sure the amounts can be played with a little if a different density/texture is preferred. If there's a difference between these brownies and oven-baked, I can't taste it. The brownies were delicious, it was a perfect amount for my family, and I finally get to make brownies whenever I want! I'm now inspired to make homemade mix, because I know the Rapid Brownie Maker will help me make the perfect brownies!
